The Barney Stinson Complex

Well the gender violence is something that lives in the minds of the people, and the tv programs, the movies and the series in general contribute to make this problem bigger. This is a situation that happens everyday, and in a lot of case the sexism is hide behind a funny or innocent character.

This is the principal problem that I recognized in my favourite serie of all time, “How I Met Your Mother?”, in specific with the character of “Barney Stinson”. He is a young and successful single man in new york, with one goal in his life, have sex with a lot of girls (but only with his specific definition of sexy and beauty girls). Barney is the most funniest character of the serie, he have the best adventures in almost every chapter, the problem is that  in his comments he hide a lot of sexism, and this are taken like a simple joke.

What I'm trying to say is that although that in the serie Barney have a mother that he loves and respect, and the same thing with his friends and girlfriends, the most of the time he is a really a bad influence for the people, in specific for the mens. All of this because behind of his image of a seductive and successful man, are the personality of a sociopath, obsessive, who sees women as an object to satisfy his sexual desires.

As a conclusion I can say that maybe the character of Barney Stinson isn't a bad person, he does not have a bad intentions in his actions but the way of shown him in the series is wrong, and his behavior is totally inadequate. The main problem of the serie is that normalizes the representation of the woman like a simply object, and this situation is really common in the different kind of programs that the society consumes everyday in the tv or the computer .

I think that the full experience of write a blog is a good way to prepare myself for the future, because it is like a real job in the press media (writing in a profesional blog or something like this) In specific, my writing skills were developed in a good way, I learned a lot of grammar, in particular how to write correctly and also the use of different types of words, which are useful in different cases. In the future I would like to add more independence at the students to write about something that really interests them. In this way of work they could develop their particular profesional skills. PERSONAL OPINIONS: The Tatoos

Hi everyone today Im going to talk about a topic very interesting to me, the tatoos. Personally I dont have any tatto yet, but I want to had a lot of them, mainly in my arms. Since I was a kid I been think that the tatoos are very interesting and looks so good in the skin. I prefer the tatoos with a lot of colours. In my case I see myself with tatoos because some of my favourite artist have a lot of them. I play the drums and I love the syle of Travis Barker (he have a lot of tatoos) the drummer of Blink 182. He is one of the best drummer in the world for me. In my opoinion the capacity of making a tatoo is just another form of art. A tatoo represent a form of expression for a lot of things (memorys, likes, interest) in the skin of the peopple, is a evidence of our own existence.
