"High Horse", the new band


 
Well, the story behind this photo begins with me and my friends trying to make some songs in the summer of the year 2017.

In my lasts years in the school I became in the drummer of a rock band that started in the music class of my school with some of my best friends. At the beginning, we play a lot of covers of our favorite bands, like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Green Day and ACDC.

With the time we become in the new leading musical band into the school. We play music in different occasions in the principal events in the school. But although that we were very happy with this, we wanted to grow as a band, and for that we needed begin to compose our own songs.


Also we needed to find a definitive name for the group. Because after a year playing music together we were still without one.

This way finished the year in the school, with the band without a name, and with the objective to compose our first songs. The holidays begun and my house become in the center operations of the band.

In the rehearsals were basically getting together to improvise for hours in my little room, drink a few beers, and laugh a lot.  After of that, we were always finished with a new idea to keep working. In this way the summer ended and we managed to compose a couple of songs and also defined a name for the band, "High Horse".

Well, after that, I started my last year at school and with the band we played together again at the main school events. The picture is from the first presentation of the year, and shows a very special moment for me, because in that occasion we play our own songs for the first time ever.

I think that the full experience of write a blog is a good way to prepare myself for the future, because it is like a real job in the press media (writing in a profesional blog or something like this) In specific, my writing skills were developed in a good way, I learned a lot of grammar, in particular how to write correctly and also the use of different types of words, which are useful in different cases. In the future I would like to add more independence at the students to write about something that really interests them. In this way of work they could develop their particular profesional skills. For example, by giving students the opportunity to do more difficult jobs, such as an interview or the task of researching a topic for themselves and writing a true story that be important in the present. PERSONAL OPINIONS: The Tatoos

Hi everyone today Im going to talk about a topic very interesting to me, the tatoos. Personally I dont have any tatto yet, but I want to had a lot of them, mainly in my arms. Since I was a kid I been think that the tatoos are very interesting and looks so good in the skin. I prefer the tatoos with a lot of colours. In my case I see myself with tatoos because some of my favourite artist have a lot of them. I play the drums and I love the syle of Travis Barker (he have a lot of tatoos) the drummer of Blink 182. He is one of the best drummer in the world for me. In my opoinion the capacity of making a tatoo is just another form of art. A tatoo represent a form of expression for a lot of things (memorys, likes, interest) in the skin of the peopple, is a evidence of our own existence.
